A Letter From Our BoardDear Friends of the Fridley Schools Foundation,
Thank you for your past support of the Fridley Schools Foundation. As a non-profit organization, we serve as a vehicle to solicit and allocate funds to enrich the programs, activities, and scholarships for Fridley Public Schools. Since its inception in 1999, FSF has provided educator grants, school programs, and scholarships to graduating seniors to further their education. This has all been made possible through your ongoing support.
As you may know, the Black & Gold Gala, our largest fundraising event of the year, has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a way to replace revenue from the gala, we are asking that you consider making a donation to the Foundation since we won't be meeting in person on our scheduled date of January, 28, 2021. You might contemplate a donation of your ticket cost ($95) as an idea. You may also think about a donation to our Fund-A-Need. If you attended our galas in years past, you know the Fund-A-Need is crucial to meeting our annual fundraising goals.
We humbly ask you to help FSF reach our 2021 fundraising goal of $20,000. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused unprecedented times for all, and many students are experiencing anxiety as a result of changes at school and in our community. Your much-needed support will help provide resources and support to Fridley Public Schools students and staff.
We are very fortunate to have such a generous community and we appreciate your continued support of the Foundation and Fridley Public Schools. Warmly, The Fridley Schools Foundation Board
