Fridley Public Schools

Tune into tonight's Fridley City Council meeting, Monday, December 14, as Fridley Major Scott Lund will officially proclaim Wednesday, December 16, 2020 as Fridley Tigers Football Team Appreciation Day!

The Fridley Football team dominated the 2020 season going 7‐0 with a crushing defense that did not allow a single touchdown; outscored their opponents 250‐21; earned the 2020 Section 4AAAA State Champion’s title; and was named the 2020 Associated Press 4A STATE CHAMPIONS!

On top of success on the football field, the Fridley football players have demonstrated academic excellence and have volunteered in multiple occasions to give back and support the surrounding community.

Under the leadership of Coach Justin Reese (Fridley Football Head Coach since 2015), as well as the coaching and mentoring from a team of veteran assistant coaches, the Fridley Football team has qualified for state championships in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020; have been named 4AAAA Section Champions 5 times in the past 6 years; and have amassed an impressive record of 48‐14 in the past 6 years.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR FRIDLEY FOOTBALL TEAM!
