Twelve dedicated Fridley High School senior athletes committed to playing their sport at the post-secondary level and participated in an athletic signing ceremony on May 22. Families, students, faculty and coaches celebrated each student as they signed a commitment to their future college.

Justin Reese, FHS activities director, beamed as he welcomed each student athlete up to complete their signing by sharing stories of their time and contributions at FHS. The stories showed how each student has made a significant impact on the Fridley community.

“Continuing to compete in athletics at the next level is a huge success,” concluded Reese. “Not only to you sitting down, to parents and families, but success to our teachers and our coaching staff, to our deans, by sticking with these kids so they can go on and use that as a vehicle to thrive in life.”
