In the final year of Fridley Public Schools' elementary-level International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools, Hayes and Stevenson 4th grade students carry out an extended, in-depth project known as the Primary Years Programme (PYP) Exhibition. This project involves students working collaboratively in small groups to research real-world issues. Students select their own topics, define guiding research questions, gather and interpret information from a range of sources, take action and present their learning to the school community.

Hayes Elementary students presented their Exhibition projects on June 2, while Stevenson Elementary held their Exhibition celebration on June 7. Topics ranged from mental health, gender equality, food waste, homelessness, pollution, climate change and much more.
