At the recent History Day Regional competition, several eighth grade students from Fridley Middle School submitted projects as part of the competition.
The projects submitted by Megan Vang, Karla Hernandez-Galvan and Leah Martin were chosen to advance to the National History Day in Minnesota competition, which will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Saturday, April 20. Additionally, Evan Stangler and Maruf Kassim, as well as Shenette Julien and Lotanna Chukwuisiocha were recognized with honorable mentions as part of the competition.
