The Fridley Schools Foundation visited SACA Food Shelf & Thrift Store on December 21, 2021 to donate over 100 pairs of socks to benefit local community members.

As an incentive at the 2021 FSF "Get Your Paws Moving" Walk fundraiser, the Foundation matched every registration with an additional pair of socks to be donated to a local shelter.

"As socks are one of the most requested items at shelters, we decided this would be a great way to help community members in need," said FSF President Karin Beckstrand. "We are thrilled to help our surrounding community and want to say thank you to all our Walk participants for allowing us to spread kindness during this holiday season!"
