Fridley Public Schools

Fridley students and staff wore orange on Tuesday, Oct. 18 to celebrate Unity Day, the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month. Unity Day was created by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center to show unity for kindness, acceptance and inclusion, and to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying.

Unity Day is officially on Wednesday, Oct. 19 but due to MEA break students celebrated a day early. In addition to wearing orange to send a message of hope and support, Stevenson students participated in a parade around the school where they held up signs with kind messages.
