Congratulations to Fridley Public Schools May 2022 Employee of the Month Brianna Ives, who serves as the Fridley Middle School Media Clerk, a position she has held since the beginning of the 2020-21 school year. 

According to Principal Amy Cochran, Ives has greatly contributed to the media center’s learning environment. “She has transformed our media center into a place where students can come to relax in our new flex seating, use their Chromebooks, chat with friends and easily find books,” said Cochran. “She gets to know and builds relationships with our students, allowing her to successfully help them find books that match their interests.” 

In addition, Ives creates eye-catching displays that highlight different cultures and books from a variety of genres. She also serves as a valuable resource for technology needs for students and staff, assists students with Chromebooks and chargers, and ensures all media center materials are prepared and stocked for staff members. 

“Brianna is nothing short of amazing and always makes sure the media center is a student-centered place that supports all needs,” said Cochran.
