Congratulations to Jason Gehlbach, our May Employee of the Month, who is a grounds and delivery driver for the Fridley Public School District.

“Jason has been exemplary in his job as custodian supporting the Area Learning Center,” said Kelly McConville, who is principal of alternative services and Fridley Preschool. “His attention to detail and kind approach make staff and students feel appreciated.” 

Gehlbach was nominated by multiple staff members at the ALC. One colleague said, “Jason is prompt and courteous, and he goes above and beyond taking care of our needs at the ALC.” Another said, “He is willing to step up and take on extra responsibilities, including filling in after school to clean when needed.”

“Jason has excelled at every task he has performed and risen far above expectations,” said McConville. “The staff at the ALC feel lucky to be able to work with Jason every day and appreciate all he does to support the school.”
