Congratulations to Fridley Public Schools' October Employee of the Month, Fatima Alnizami! Alnizami has served as the Fridley High School (FHS) Administrative Assistant in the Student Support Services (SSS) office for three years.  

“Fatima is always extremely positive, caring, and helpful and gives her full attention to every situation, providing individual attention to each student and family,” said FHS Principal Patty Hand. The students love her, and the staff respect her hard work, dedication and professionalism.”

A colleague of Alnizami’s noted, “Fatima carries herself with such smooth poise, yet her work is done with urgency. No matter how big or small the project, she makes the tasks at hand a priority.”

As Fridley High School prepared its transition to hybrid and distance learning models, Alnizami, worked alongside FHS Assistant Principal Kelly McConville and spent many additional hours completing class scheduling and other necessary adjustments.

According to FHS administrators, Alnizami took the project head on, and used her keen attention-to-detail skills to ensure that everything was perfect. “Her top priority was always to ensure the safety of our students,” said Hand.

Another colleague said, “Fridley is so lucky to have Fatima as part of our team. She has an incredible work ethic, and is constantly building, connecting, and reconnecting relationships within our Fridley family!”
