Fridley Public Schools

Congratulations to Fridley Public Schools' September Employee of the Month, Linda Snyder! Snyder serves as the District Nurse and current COVID Coordinator. In her role, she works to directly support the health of Fridley students across the district, and to ensure that health and safety protocols are maintained as directed by the Minnesota Department of Health and Minnesota Department of Education.

"September's Employee of the Month could not be more deserving," said Director of Special Services Laura Siefert-Hertling. "When I began my work in the Fridley School District, I was amazed by her involvement in meetings and the details she knew about the students she supported."

Siefert-Hertling described Linda as hardworking, a problem solver, multi-talented and "superhero." With added responsibilities this year as the designated COVID Coordinator, Linda has proven to be the ideal person for the task. Her colleagues say she brings a sense of calm to all those around her, and say they feel safe knowing she is in this position.

Through the summer months, Linda worked hard to continue to stay up-to-date on rapidly changing state guidance impacting our district's reopening plans. "We would not be where we are without the support of Linda," said Siefert-Hertling. "She is truly wonderful!"
