Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year has officially opened!

Families with children who will enter kindergarten this fall can learn more about requirements and complete registration by visiting the kindergarten enrollment page. 

Families are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Early registration allows the district to effectively plan staffing, classroom placements, and student support services in advance of the new academic year.

Kindergarten Welcome Nights

As part of the transition to kindergarten, families are also invited to attend Kindergarten Welcome Nights at their neighborhood elementary schools. Welcome Nights provide an opportunity for families to meet teachers and staff, learn about the kindergarten experience, and help students feel excited and confident about starting school.

• Stevenson Elementary School Kindergarten Welcome Night will be on Monday, March 16, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. 
• Hayes Elementary School Kindergarten Welcome Night will be on Tuesday, March 17, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
