Apply for Educational Benefits
The 2022-23 Application for Educational Benefits is now available. Please complete the application before school starts. Due to the expiration of federal USDA waivers, lunches will no longer be free for all students. Remember to fill out your Application for Educational Benefits. Families of all incomes should complete this form to maximize funding for our students and schools. Completion of the applications benefit the district through compensatory funding and participation in various programs. Additionally, families may qualify for reduced activity and athletic fees. Online applications can be completed by clicking here. You can also complete a paper application and return it to your school office.
Hayes and Stevenson Elementary Schools are participating in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program this year. Students will be receiving a fresh fruit or vegetable snack every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please encourage your students to try the different fresh fruits or vegetables, as this program helps to expose students to a variety of nutritious options. This program is available to Fridley Public Schools through a USDA grant.
If you have any questions, you can contact our Nutritional Services Administrative Assistant Kathy Backstrom at 763-502-5021 or Director Renee Arbogast at 763-502-5022. Thank you and we look forward to serving your students.

Please keep your student's meal account current by taking advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and gives students more time to eat, relax, and play. It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch.

Fridley Public Schools uses Infinite Campus to provide parents with a safe and convenient way to prepay for student’s meals online.
