Nutritional Services

Welcome to the Fridley Public Schools Nutritional Services website!

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently extended a waiver that allows school districts to serve free meals to all children under 18 until the end of the school year. All children 18 years old and younger can receive free meals when learning at school or when learning at home. The school district must still collect Application for Educational Benefits (Free/Reduced Priced Meal Application) from families. By completing this form you are helping the district receive additional funding that supports our students and teachers. You can complete a paper application and turn them into your school's main office or online through the Parent Portal. The short application will only take a minutes to complete and families need to complete only one form for the entire household.

Free Meal Information:

  • All meal bags will contain reheating instructions and information on how to store the food until you are ready to consume.
  • Children do not need to be present for parents or guardians to pick up meals. We will ask what grade your student is in.
  • Children do not need to be enrolled in Fridley Public Schools to receive these meals at this time.

Please keep your student's meal account current by taking advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and gives students more time to eat, relax, and play. It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch.

ONLINE PAYMENTS (Infinite Campus)

Online payments are a simple, safe and secure way to make payments to your students account 24 hours a day at your convenience.

Beginning the 2020-21 school year, Fridley Public Schools uses Infinite Campus to provide parents with a safe and convenient way to prepay for student’s meals online. Parents can set up automatic payment plans, view balances and account history, and receive automated notification on balance status. There is no charge or extra fee to use Infinite Campus.

You can always bring money personally or send it with your student. Please place it in an envelope marked clearly with your student's name, their ID #, their teacher's name, the $ amount and the check #. Turn in prepaid deposits to the cafeteria cashier(s) or school office.
