Welcome to the Fridley Public Schools Nutritional Services website!
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently extended a waiver that allows school districts to serve free meals to all children under 18 until the end of the school year. All children 18 years old and younger can receive free meals when learning at school or when learning at home. The school district must still collect Application for Educational Benefits (Free/Reduced Priced Meal Application) from families. By completing this form you are helping the district receive additional funding that supports our students and teachers. You can complete a paper application and turn them into your school's main office or online through the Parent Portal. The short application will only take a minutes to complete and families need to complete only one form for the entire household.
All meals served in school and at Meal Pick Up are FREE to all children, ages 1-18, regardless of income level.

With the 5th - 12th grade hybrid students returning to school on March 15th, we have some important information to share regarding changes in meal pick procedures. Students enrolled in hybrid learning (Stripes and Paws) will not be able to pick up meals on Tuesday or Wednesday since the students will be receiving free breakfast and lunch during the school day. For 5th-12th graders, they can pick up a one day meal bag from the school cafeteria at the end of the school day on Tuesday to eat on Wednesday when they are learning from home.
Only students who are 100% distance learning will be able to pick up meals.
