P-EBT Food Assistance

Summer 2021 P-EBT Assistance

All students enrolled in school in June who were eligible for free or reduced price meals will receive summer benefits with the July disbursement.

If you are a new student, approved for free or reduced priced meals after July 1, 2021 you will be eligible for summer meal benefits at a later time. Please complete the Application for Educational Benefits online after July 1, 2021 or by printing a copy from the Nutritional Services web page. Applications for newly eligible students must be received by September 3, 2021.

If you have questions about Summer P-EBT please contact Renee Arbogast at 763-502-5022 or Suzanne Gallagher at 763-502-5085.

Students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals may be eligible for Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) to purchase food for the days they are not in the school building.

To be considered, households must submit an application for free or reduced-price meals for the 2020-21 school year or be approved for Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. Families who received P-EBT benefits last summer are not automatically eligible; eligibility is based on the current school year.

If application was completed prior to June 30th 2021, benefits may be retroactive to September 2020, depending on when eligibility for free or reduced-price meals is determined. To ensure you qualify for the most benefits, please submit your application as soon as possible.
