About Fridley Public Schools

We welcome you to Fridley Public Schools and encourage you to learn more about our schools and learning community.

Fridley is the first and only school district in Minnesota to offer the full International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum to all students from PreK to Grade 12. Learning through the IB framework provides each student with the skills they will need to be successful and to positively contribute to local and global communities.

We are a small, close-knit learning community where all are welcome. Our highly-professional staff focuses on the needs of each student, personalizing learning to prepare each student for their next step.

Our schools include:

Comprehensive Programs, Small Class Sizes, and Abundant Opportunities

We support and prepare students for career, college and beyond through a variety of programs including AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), which provides students with the skills to chart their path to success. Our district has class sizes that are smaller than most neighboring districts and throughout the Twin Cities metro area. And we offer a wide variety of opportunities for our students through academics, athletics and activities.

Fridley Public Schools serves nearly 2,800 students, and each one is important to us.
