Superintendent Search
The Fridley Area School District School Board has contracted with School Exec Connect, a superintendent search firm, to assist with the search for a new superintendent.
We need your participation in this important process, and want to share information about the steps we will take as we search for a new superintendent. Below you will find the latest updates and a schedule of events related to the search. The school board expects to have a new superintendent selected in May to allow for a smooth transition in leadership for July 1.
Creating a leadership profile
We are asking the community to help us to develop a new superintendent profile -- what students, staff, families and community members believe Fridley should be looking for in our next superintendent. An online survey is available from March 17 – April 6 to gather this input, and various focus groups will be held on March 28.
