NWSISD Partnership Programs

Educators Rising
Educators Rising is a program that offers Fridley High School students hands-on teaching experience and lessons to cultivate skills they need to be successful educators.

While participating in the Educators Rising NWSISD program, students meet with speakers, tutor younger students at elementary and middle schools within the seven collaborative districts, attend college tours that provide information regarding their education programs, plan and facilitate a community involvement project, participate in a one day job shadow experience and further their career skills by participating in a year-end leadership conference. Click here to learn more about Educators Rising.

Essence Girls Mentorship Program
The Essence Mentorship Program is a female program that provides out-of-school educational experiences which include service and leadership learning, college and career conferences, and college visits. Students attend meetings twice a month during the school year to work on curriculum which focuses on four constructs: Expectations, Aspirations, Opportunities, and Achievement. Click here to learn more about the Essence program.
