For 20 days, we are honoring our Fridley seniors with postings on the Fridley District Facebook page and our new Class of 2020 Digital Blog. We have also created a Staff Shout Out Digital Blog where seniors can view messages from Fridley teachers and staff members ![]() 14. Additionally, these distinguished students were honored for their participation and leadership in activities, and modeling the strong, inclusive culture at Fridley High School. Along with these awards, the Class of 2020 FHS Community Scholarships were also awarded. Congratulations to our seniors! Click here to watch the virtual event Two Billboards to Honor Class of 2020 In partnership with Kris Lindahl Real Estate and Blue Ox Media, the Fridley High School Class of 2020 will be honored with two billboards! Kris Lindahl, a Fridley High School alumnus, generously donated time on one of his billboards to honor the Class of 2020 from June 1-7. In addition, Blue Ox Ad Media, a Minnesota billboard advertising firm, generously donated time to honor Fridley seniors from June 1-4.

Time: June 1-4 ![]() ![]() Mathison selected to serve as Fridley Public Schools is pleased to announce that Veronica Mathison has been named the new principal of R. L. Stevenson Elementary School. She will replace long-term principal Daryl Vossler who announced his intent to retire at the end of this school year. Mathison will begin her new role on July 1, 2020. Click below to watch video: ![]() ![]() Congratulations to Fridley High School, an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, for being named one of Minnesota's top 100 best high schools! In its recently released annual ranking of the nation's best high schools, U.S. News and World Report ranked Fridley High School 74th in Minnesota, and 64th in the Twin Cities metro area. Fridley's top 10% ranking is based on 879 high schools in the state. Schools are ranked based on methodology which includes: college readiness, college curriculum breadth, reading and math proficiency and performance, performance of underserved student groups and graduation rate. All Fridley High School students have the opportunity to take IB coursework and exams. Congratulations to the FHS staff on their hard work in preparing our students for college and careers! ![]() Grab your lunch at one of our meal distribution sites! Please remember - we are continuing to serve lunch to all students (ages 18 and under) at various locations throughout the district! Grab-and-go meals are served everyday weekday from 11 AM to 1 PM - Each meal includes a lunch and breakfast. Locations include Fridley High School, Hayes Elementary School, and bus route locations. On Fridays, all students will receive an extra breakfast and an extra lunch every Friday for the weekend. ![]() Fridley families receive school supplies! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Many Fridley families took advantage of the third School Supply Giveaway on Thursday, May 14! Supplies included headphones, pencils, spiral notebooks, and colored pencils.
