Throughout the past few weeks, our generous Fridley community has contributed $11,095 toward our fundraising goal! We are appreciative beyond measure for your generosity - and we can assure you that your donations will help to enhance opportunities and programs for our Fridley students. Establish a ScholarshipMany local businesses, organizations, and members of our Fridley Public Schools community have chosen to establish scholarships to be awarded to deserving graduating seniors. Each year, seniors apply for various scholarships and are awarded at the annual Scholastic Achievement Banquet in May. Thank you to the following organizations and families who have established scholarships for the Class of 2021! Your donation helps to support...Scholarships for students district-wideDonating to the Fridley Schools Foundation means you will contribute to expanding opportunities for students of all ages throughout the district. FSF funds scholarships for graduating Fridley High School seniors, grade K-6 students to attend summer Learning Academy, and the district's youngest learners in 3-year-old IB PYP Fridley Preschool. Teacher innovation grantsEach year, Fridley staff members are able to apply for teacher innovation grants, which utilize FSF funds to impact students in their classrooms, through field trips, and other educational opportunities. Past grants have included: Woodworking lathes for Fridley High School CTE department, 3D Printer and materials for STEAM Makerspace in the Fridley Middle School Media Center, Spanish Interpreter in the Early Childhood Family Education program, adapted Phy. Ed. equipment for students who receive Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) services, and much more!
