Apply for Educational Benefits
The 2023-24 Application for Educational Benefits is now available. Please complete the application before school starts. Starting school year 2023-24, we are joining Minnesota’s Free School Meals Program. All students can get one breakfast and one lunch free of charge each day at school. Remember to fill out your Application for Educational Benefits. Families of all incomes should complete this form to maximize funding for our students and schools. Completion of the applications benefit the district through compensatory funding and participation in various programs. Additionally, families may qualify for reduced activity and athletic fees. Hayes and Stevenson Elementary Schools are participating in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program this year. Students will be receiving a fresh fruit or vegetable snack every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please encourage your students to try the different fresh fruits or vegetables, as this program helps to expose students to a variety of nutritious options. This program is available to Fridley Public Schools through a USDA grant.

Students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals may be eligible for Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) to purchase food for the days they are not in the school building. Click here to learn more.

PRE-PAYMENT OPTIONS

Please keep your student's meal account current by taking advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and gives students more time to eat, relax, and play. It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch.

ONLINE PAYMENTS (Infinite Campus)

Online payments are a simple, safe and secure way to make payments to your students account 24 hours a day at your convenience.

Fridley Public Schools uses Infinite Campus to provide parents with a safe and convenient way to prepay for student’s meals online. Parents can set up automatic payment plans, view balances and account history, and receive automated notification on balance status. There is no charge or extra fee to use Infinite Campus.

SEND CHECK OR CASH

You can always bring money personally or send it with your student. Please place it in an envelope marked clearly with your student's name, their ID #, their teacher's name, the $ amount and the check #. Turn in prepaid deposits to the cafeteria cashier(s) or school office.

2023-2024 Meal Prices 

All students are provided one breakfast and one lunch meal at no cost. The prices below are for any additional meals students wish to purchase.

Elementary Schools: Not able to purchase additional meal
Middle School & High School lunch: $5.00
Adult lunch: $5.00
Adult breakfast: $2.50

Milk: $0.55

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines.

All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
