Early Voting by Mail
Fridley Public Schools district residents who wish to vote early can cast an absentee ballot must apply by mail. Voters who wish to receive an absentee ballot by mail can apply now by filling out a paper application. The online absentee ballot application is not available for 2021 local elections.
Absentee ballots will begin to be mailed on September 17, 2021. Voters who receive their ballot by mail can return by mail (postage is prepaid), or they can drop off their ballot at the Anoka County Government Center during business hours, as well as on the Saturday before Election Day from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and the Monday before Election Day until 5:00 p.m.
Early Voting In-Person
District residents who wish to cast an in-person absentee ballot can vote at the Anoka County Government Center, 2100 3rd Avenue, Anoka, MN, beginning on September 17, 2021. Times for in-person voting are listed below:
- 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
- 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the Saturday before Election Day
- 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on the Monday before Election Day

Voting on Election Day
This year, Election Day is Tuesday, November 2, 2021. All Fridley Public Schools district residents will be voting at one polling location: the Fridley Community Center, 6085 Seventh Street NE, Fridley, MN. The polling location will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
