FRIDLEY ISD 014 - NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILINGS FOR OFFICE

The Fridley School Board candidate filing period will be open between Tuesday, July 28, 2020 and Tuesday, August 11, 2020, during office hours. There is one Board seat up election; the elected candidate will serve from January 2021-December 2021.

All candidate filings must be received by Tuesday, August 11, 2020 by 5:00 p.m. The district's regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., with the exception of the final day of candidate filing when our office will be open until 5:00 p.m.

Candidate filings for the following offices are to be filed at Fridley High School, 6000 West Moore Lake Drive, Fridley, MN 55432

Fridley School Board

The School Board serves as the governing body of Fridley Public Schools District 14 and, within established state guidelines and regulations, determines the educational, financial, and administrative programs and policies under which the district functions.

The Board welcomes and encourages communications from district residents. Communication may take the form of personal or written contacts with members of the Board or the district administration. If you wish to offer input, ask a question, or discuss a concern, you may leave a message at the Board Message Line at 763-502-5060, or the Superintendent's office at 763-502-5001.

In most cases, concerns or questions about Fridley Public Schools can be most effectively handled by district staff who have specific knowledge about the topic.
