Fridley High School:

• Wednesday, August 30: FHS Open House & Picture Day, 1 - 6 p.m.
• Tuesday, September 5: First day for 9th grade and 12th grade students ONLY - NO NEW STUDENTS

Fridley Middle School:

• Thursday, August 31: FMS Open House, 3 - 7 p.m.
• Tuesday, September 5: Orientation for All 5th Grade Students and All New Students Gr 6, 7, 8, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Hayes Elementary School:

• Thursday, August 31: Hayes Orientation, 4 - 6 p.m.
• Tuesday, September 5: Hayes Orientation, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Stevenson Elementary School:

• Thursday, August 31: RLS Orientation, 4 - 6 p.m.
• Tuesday, September 5: RLS Orientation, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Preschool:

• Wednesday, August 30: Preschool Orientation, FCC, 4 - 6 p.m.

This year's Fridley Public Schools 10th annual Back-to-School Resource Fair will be held on Saturday, August 26 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Fridley High School's parking lot for backpacks, school supplies and community resources. Park at the Fridley Middle School and walk through the event to gather resources.

Families must register for the event at www.fridleyschools.org/resourcefair

Only students enrolled in Fridley Public Schools can receive a backpack and school supplies at the fair.

Parents are able to view bus route information on the Parent Portal. If you are experiencing any issues logging into the Parent Portal, please email Campus.Parenthelp@fridley.k12.mn.us.

Families are not required to request transportation this year, except in instances that they have changed their address or are new to the district. Please use the form below if your family fits into one of those categories.

The 2023-24 Application for Educational Benefits is now available. Please complete the application before school starts.

Families of all incomes should complete this form to maximize funding for our students and schools. Completion of the applications benefit the district through compensatory funding and participation in various programs. Additionally, families may qualify for reduced activity and athletic fees.

Starting school year 2023-24, we are joining Minnesota’s Free School Meals Program. All students can get one breakfast and one lunch free of charge each day at school.

• Students must choose at least three items at breakfast and at least three components at lunch, including at least ½ cup of a fruit or vegetable at breakfast and lunch.
• Single items are not free – for example, a carton of milk without a meal or a second entree isn’t covered and will need to be purchased.

Minnesota Statutes require all students enrolling in school to be immunized against certain diseases or file a legal medical or conscientious exemption. If these are not obtained, your child will not be able to start school in the fall.

This meeting will take place at 6 p.m. on August 22 in the High School Auditorium.

Please make sure you are registered for your fall sport prior to the first day of practice on Monday, August 14. Registration is set up through the parent or student Infinite Campus Portals. 

Once you login, follow these steps:

• School Store
• Select your school
• Choose your sport
• Click and fill out the sport registration form that is in blue. 
• Add to cart and check out

Once you have paid the fee, your name will automatically appear on the roster.

If you are registering for a sport, a current physical must be on file with the Fridley Activities Office or you will be unable to proceed with registration. Physicals are considered current for 3 years and must not expire during the season for which the registration is being made. Families may check the status of their child's physical date in Campus Parent Portal - Navigate to More and click Health. The most recent physical on file is located on the bottom of the page under immunizations list.

Completed physical forms may be submitted to the Activities Office at Fridley High School, via email to kayla.bryson-rivera@fridley.k12.mn.us or fax to 763-502-5640. The MSHSL Sports Qualifying Physical Form can be found here.

Tiger Club's School-Age Childcare is the Fridley Public Schools' fee-based "outside of school-time" childcare program, serving students in kindergarten - 6th grade.  

Located within the Community Education department at the Fridley Community Center, this program offers before- and after-school care during the school year, and full-day care on non-school days and throughout the summer.

Tiger Club is a Minnesota School-Age Childcare Association (MnSACA) Accredited program and Department of Human Services (DHS) Certified. Our staff are trained in “out of school time” curriculum planning, child development, active supervision and engagement, CPR, and First Aid. Our program is an ideal place where students can explore their interests in a variety of fun and challenging activities, designed to build confidence and foster independence in a safe, nurturing environment.

Whether attending before- and after-school, non-school day, or in the summer, Tiger Club is open from 6:30am until 6:00pm.
